| Family Room - Build Relationships - Small Groups |
Initially welcoming people to the church when they first visit is one thing, but inviting them into the life of
the church (middle doors) in quite another. Small groups are an excellent way of extending that
invitation to build strong relationships.
Based on the questionnaires filled out by those who expressed interest in small groups and the
availability of hosts and point persons we have four small groups that have begun with a fifth group
ready to be in place as the ministry grows.
Young Adult- Host: Emily Ellsworth, Point Person: Jay Lyons, location Kansas City
Adult only- Host/Point Person: Peggy Sargent; location Belton
Adult intergenerational- Host: Nick and Jeanette Arello, Point Person: Crystal Giesey; location Kansas
City (Holmes and Blue Ridge).
Young Adult intergenerational- Hosts/Point Persons: Forgrave's, Sheneman's, locations various
If you are looking to be connected to other people in the church—join a small group! The hope is to have
every person involved in a small group.
