Outreach, Service and Ministry Partnerships- World Vision and Local Engagement
Ministry happens in neighborhoods, workplaces, homes, schools, church—wherever we go. Wherever we are or go there we are
ministers, ambassadors of Christ, His witnesses. If not then we have compartmentalized our lives into areas where God reigns in
our lives and other where He does not. The key is always be open to and being aware of what God is doing around us, so we can
be a part of what God wants to do through us. Wherever we go there are signs, evidence of God’s activity. In whatever situation we
are in there is opportunity to get in on what God is doing.
Here are some of the ministries and parternships we have to bless the community in the name of Jesus and to love in Christlike
ways.
Ministry Partnerships
Rachel''s House We support the clinic financially each month as well as through special projects. For more information about the
Rachel's House visit rachelhousefriends.org
Grandview Assistance Program- We collect canned goods and other food items for the G.A.P. as a way to minister in Christlike
ways for the relief of those in need. For more information about the G.A.P. visit www.gapcares.org

Community Garden We know the cost of fresh produce is
expensive, so as a ministry to the community we distribute
FREE produce from our community garden. When in
season we have set Saturdays at 10 a.m. as the
distribution day. Depending on what comes in and can be
harvested we will have tomatoes, green beans, onions,
cucumbers and more to distribute. When we have
something to distribute you will see a sign posted near the
corner of 15th St and Highgrove Rd and by our parking lot
and a table set up. We hope this will be a blessing to you
and your family.
If you would like to de-weed, water and work in the garden.
We welcome you to join us on Saturdays. If you are
interested in being involved or have questions please
contact us.

Romania Partnership- We are partnering with the Open Door Foundation in Bucharest, Romania
(http://usadeschisa.ro/) and the Tigmandru Church of the Nazarene in Tigmandru, Romania (see their
Facebook page). We are providing prayer and financial support as well as other opportunities to be personally
involved in the work going on there. The Open Door provides a safe place and many programs for survivors of
human trafficking. The Tigmandru church services 80+ children from the village with educational help, meals,
life skills training and Biblical instruction. For more information go to our "Romania" page.
This is our Remembrance Flower Garden at Grandview Nazarene in
memory of those murdered in Grandview since 2019. It is located in the
back landscape area in the rear parking lot. Several more people have
been murdered before 2019. Go to KSHB's homicide tracker to learn
more about the stories and names of those murdered back to 2015.
"May there be no cry of distress in our streets." -Psalm 144.14
