We are partnering with the Open Door Foundation in Bucharest, Romania (http://usadeschisa.ro/) and the Tigmandru Church of the Nazarene in Tigmandru, Romania (see their Facebook page). We are providing prayer and financial support as well as other opportunities to be personally involved in the work going on there. The Open Door provides a safe place and many programs for survivors of human trafficking. The Tigmandru church services 80+ children from the village with educational help, meals, life skills training and Biblical instruction. We sponsor two children in Romania and one in Kenya, Africa

We know the cost of fresh produce is expensive, so as a ministry to the community we distribute FREE produce from our community garden. When in season we have set Saturdays at 10 a.m. as the distribution day. Depending on what comes in and can be harvested we will have tomatoes, green beans, onions, cucumbers and more to distribute. When we have something to distribute you will see a sign posted near the corner of 15th St and Highgrove Rd and by our parking lot and a table set up. Our Remembrance Flower Garden is planted in memory of each person murdered in Grandview since 2019. It is located in the back landscape area in the rear parking lot. Several more people have been murdered before 2019. We have a Facebook Page- Go to Remembrance Flower Garden to learn more. "Like" the page to receive updates and prayer requests.

Pray for the families, for justice in the unsolved cases and for the police detective on each case.

As a congregation, we partner with the Grandview C-4 School District through Caring for Kids Kansas City. Specifically we sponsor Conn-West Elementary School, which is down the street from our church buildings. Over the last decade, we have supported the kids, teachers and staff by providing a meal for the Parent / Teacher Conference, providing socks, gloves, scarves and hats through the Spare a Pair Drive, regularly praying for the school, helping to provide the meal for Centralized Enrollment and more.

We sponsor three children through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM). We have sponsored children through NCM since 2003. We have sponsored three girls from Kenya, Africa. We also sponsored two children in Romania and other children from Europe. NCM and their local partners help provide food, education, Bible teaching, clothing and other needed services.
